The Art of Planning | 5-Part Workshop

Description Summary In partnership with at least one local or regional arts service organization, we facilitate an artful approach to strategic planning to local and regional leaders and creative entrepreneurs.

Oakley Creative Incubator | 9-month 1-on-1 Mentorship and Customized Workshops

Description Summary In partnership with at least one local or regional arts service organization, we design and implement a 6-month incubator to support the next phase in local working artists and/or arts leaders.

Outcomes

  1. Peer-to-peer learning and relationships with new bridges to potential funders, strategic partners, and expansive peer network; customized skill-building

  2. Direct instruction and mentorship with time and space to support a new idea, project, or initiative.

Oakley Arts Integration | Season-long Program with Facilitated Workshops and Mentorship

Description Summary In partnership with a local arts organization, we create learning materials, training modules, and community partnerships. Drawing from traditional arts integration training, we facilitate training for artists to embed artistry into the community.

Outcomes

  1. Sustainable partnership between artists and community organizations

  2. Artists understand how to integrate their artistry into libraries, schools, community centers, and park systems

  3. Increased value of creativity and the hosting arts organization

Ballet Des Moines hosted Oakley Arts Integration training in partnership with Throughline Arts for their 2023-2024 season

The Sound of Us | 2-day Workshop

Description Summary: Participants explore definitions of success, self, and community, while utilizing sound recording and production technology. Organizations, ranging from libraries to junior high schools to universities have engaged this workshop to support their communities while gathering information about their community stakeholders. This workshop also explores intention and mindfulness — particularly when and how we communicate.

MIT hosted an Oakley Collective Workshop in conjunction with their Listening to the City summit in 2017
